Through My Poetry Poem by Frank Sheehan

Through My Poetry

I try to
make it up
to everyone
I've ever
harmed- - -
through my Poetry.
To my
first love
that I
cheated on,
to my
family, friends
& acquaintances
that I
did dirty
through adolescent
indiscretions & indulgences.
This is all
I have to
offer as we
are now
years & miles apart.
I hope
you accept
my apologies.

Yes, indeed poetry is an expression of inner most feelings, well done dear poet.

Whatever you can invest in poetry will enrich it... observations of beauty, search for knowledge, flashes of insight, harvests of reflection. If you can put in your wish for forgiveness, that will make it even better. Poetry is a big container, so whatever you pour in will strengthen the mixture richer, as long as it comes from the heart.
