Through The Valley Again Poem by Susan Williams

Through The Valley Again

Rating: 5.0

Through the Valley
again
of the Shadow of Death
again
I am angry
Why her?
I am livid
She has gone through so much
Why more?
I ‘ve got a volcano anger brewing inside
Yes I know there is life after death
I know it but--
But why her? Why now?
Doing the slow walk again
Through the Valley of the Shadow of Death
Is she going to be breathless
lifeless
motionless
in the end?
Is she?
I am angry
Blowtorch angry
She has been through so much
Too much
And now once again
Going through the valley
of the shadow of death
the anger inside me
doesn't comfort
her or me
so I take His hand
and hold on
again.
