Tick Tock Poem by Pearl Walden

Tick Tock

My neighbor runs his own business
He's a 'bespoke' watchmaker you see
Getting all those fine craftsmen
Together to make seriously wonderful
Timepieces at reasonable prices for
Those coming into some money to shell
Out and pride themselves on their
Great investment. I wouldn't get one..
Fools and their money are soon parted
When won over by very clever marketing.
Showing off the tomfoolery is naff.
