Tied By Fate (Sonnet #74) Poem by Tina Rizk

Tied By Fate (Sonnet #74)

I needed you like a child needed her mum
Just as a sinner longed for redemption
This world wasn't mine, I belonged to none
Does love exist? , I thought with obsession.

Our hearts are tied by fate, hoped you'd come fast
For you my soul longed, for you my heart strove
The universe heard my heart's call, at last!
You came as a reward, a prize, my love.

You were my rock and support all the way
You never let me down, always with me
As our hearts are moulded from the same clay
I was born to love you eternally.

As I know you feel the same as I do
Let's stroll hand in hand under the sky blue
