Time and Distance

Funny how they affect love

Mom says, “If you love something set it free

And it will come back to you.”



Your last words to me were you love me

If this was the case

Then why did you not fight for me



Why did you rollover

And let someone else lead me away



Are you truly happy

Or just living a sad story

I love him too but I am not in love with him

For you have and will always have my heart



Even though we have long since departed

Miles between us and decades have passed



Time and Distance prove that I still Love You.
