Time Of Essence - Poem by Lyn Poulton

Never enough time,
as days go by,
To hold you close,
Just let me cry.
Another week,
Feeling alone,
Thinking of you,
Can't call, no phone.
Our distance apart,
Endless space,
Our hearts so close,
Our lives a race.
Love is measured,
my thoughts, my hopes,
Our memories shared,
Cant wash away with soap.
Live for today,
Love for the moment,
Life to be treasured,
And held in the present.
