Time Passed-Time Sequel (Written A Day After Time) Poem by Amy Fifita

Time Passed-Time Sequel (Written A Day After Time)

Death has stopped calling,
Your sunset at sunrise.
Time did not freeze or rewind,
It fast forwarded.
You still remain in pictures,
Time has given us at least that.
In deaths arms you shall keep.

You still live in memories,
As if you were still here moving.
We still love you without breath,
And wonder if you spirit still remains here,
It does in our hearts and minds.
They say you never know what you had until it's gone,
But we already knew what we had.

(Dedicated to Colin John Douglass a loving Grandad who won't be forgotten.1944-2009)
