TIME'S PALANQUIN
Our life like the pendulum of grandfather's
clock,
Between tears and laughter gently rocks !
We are often lulled to sleep in life's swing,
While enjoining the blessings that life brings!
And when the clock strikes the final hour,
In time's palanquin we retire!
ZERO SUM!
One plus one is zero too,
When you are no one to me,
And I am no one to you!
And our lives no longer coalesce,
And we cease to find any solace,
In each other's company!
And we like lost Astronauts in
outer space,
Swim through time and space,
Lost in our divergent ways,
Through eternity!
