Times Pass Poem by Mark Money

Times Pass

Rating: 4.0

times pass; people change.
the poor get rich
and the rich lose money.
one day a man's up
the next day he's down.
each man fights a private war inside
one day a king-
the next, scrabbling for scraps
in some deserted-alley ashcans.
a man has many tears to shed-
many things to change.
man can change things he messes up.
one day up; the next day down
times pass; people change.

Good summary of life's ups and downs. Nothing stays still and cannot be controlled by our will. Well done
