Time's Tide Poem by Mervyn Graham

Time's Tide

Rating: 5.0

If yesterday fades like whispers lost in time's tide,
And tomorrow dances in dreams, where hopes abide,
Then today, this our fleeting moment, is our guide,
We within its grasp, illusions often hide.

In the tapestry of now, truths and lies entwine,
Moments unfold, revealing life's design,
For in the shimmering mirage, we may find
That reality's cloak is silk woven fine.

In the here and now, where destinies converge,
Perceptions shift, and the unknowns emerge,
Through the labyrinth of the present, we urge
To embrace uncertainty, to willingly submerge.

So let us not dwell in nostalgia's embrace,
Nor cast our gaze to the future's distant space,
But in the reality of now, let us embrace
Life's beauty, mystery, with grace.
