Ode to Chester Weed

This most certainly is Chester weed
Quite a shaky batch indeed
Four fifths stems and seeds
However, there enough to meet my need

Nice and cheap, I've no money
Hustlers are always funny
They know all about five for twenty

Yes all the trees brown in Chester
No they won't be getting any better
But you'll take them to a summons letter
And being down by the river relieves this humid weather

Originally I planned this poem a sonnet
But couldn't think of any words, god darn it
Then I took my Chester weed and got high on it

Poet's Notes about The Poem

A friend of mine told me 'Ode To Chester Weed' is an awful title as well as an awful subject. I told him I haven't always got $20 for a gram of the good stuff so the weed will do just fine but the poem needed the worst title I could give it
