The sun will shine
I know not where
But I want to be
Standing there

I'm not in control
It's not my role
So I will play
then it will be my day

Things will turn right
I know not how
My intentions are good
I'll be understood

I'd choose the path
And dictate the pace
But as a mere human
It's not my place

I'd take the credit
And collect the money
But what I really need
is to be where it is sunny

Life's been good
Because of what I've done?
No - But I am loved
As a simple child in the sun
