To Eleonora Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

To Eleonora

Eleonora,
As we walk along the avenue
In this dazzling metropolis
Your eyes glitter diamonds
Your lips a blazing red

Eleonora,
We hold hands together
Thinking of memories
As sweet as grapes

Under the bright neon lights
We kiss and kiss again
Until your breath is mine
And our lips are locked
Like in a trance

People walk by
While you giggle in ecstasy

Eleonora,
We grab a taxi
And go to watch a movie

At the end of the show
We walk back home

As you sit along the side of the bed

Eleonora, my shining light!
My world, My afterlife!

Eleonora
I take your socks off
And tuck you to bed

When morning rises from the east
You wake up
To see me watching you sleep
