To Hell. Poem by Tom Allport

To Hell.

Rating: 5.0

Diplomatic immunity
Should be a thing of the past
It is a disgraceful excuse
By those trying to avoid justice fast
For all their bad deeds
Only time will tell
Whether their misdoings
Will take them to hell.

'Only time will tell Whether their misdoings Will take them to ' - true. But thank you for not waiting up to that time to speak against this kind of wrong doing. The poem, so well written, deserves full marks and I gladly give it: 5 Stars *****! I recommend this poem to be selected as the 'Member Poem of the Day'.

I agree entirely to what you've said in this poem. There should be no immunity of any kind, diplomatic or whatever, to condone any crime. Sadly, even the advanced countries have multiple layers of justice, applicable to different kinds of wrong doers basing on their country of origin, their caste, creed, religion, colour etc. Wheres, Justice is supposed to be blind.
