I've hid a piece of my heart
Inside you & hope that you
Seek,
Among random playthings
And other things that you
Cherish.
I've hid a piece of my heart
Deep down inside with the hopes
A side of me that one day
You'd love to meet.
To know how I feel, forever young inside you.
Patiently waiting to be found.
Authentic and pure,
I hid it somewhere safe.
Somewhere where you could
Find it.
We're both human & I'll be the first to admit, it's hard to let go
Of some childish things.
Hardly criminal, enjoying a piece of me. Hoping to be found in you.
Both my ears wide and upright.
