To My Broken Love (Ghazal) Poem by Dhal Bahadur Jirel

To My Broken Love (Ghazal)

Give up taking my kindness for weakness.
Give up taking my silence for speechless.

I regarded ye as the beauty of the world.
Ye new ye were my abbess and my goddess.

I swear my uniqueness was to complete ye
Ye took my every progress for mean mess.

Perhaps my confidence was conceit for you.
My mistress, wish ye had learned to confess.

Did I ever made ye shed tears in your eyes.
See, I gave ye access to everything I possess.

Grabbing my pride, dignity and respect,
Ye played with me endless tricky chess.

Promises are forgotten made for ages yet
hurting obsess will remain forever fresh.
