To No One Poem by Abby Bilan

To No One

Forgive me for calling you
Such a name I’d want to be given
For someone who flew
My visions out on high and forsaken

Today will be a mark
For tomorrow’s pictures
Light the dark
And together we draw the futures

For life is not an earth
Where we dug downwards
But the core of dirt
We duck upwards
Until we see the light
Upon the roads
Where never be night
And no struggle loads

You seized me and darted
I was a fool you’ve caught
From you shall never be parted
For eternity, something has fought
