To Silence The Weary Mind Poem by comatose

To Silence The Weary Mind

Rating: 5.0

fingers trembling hush it'll end soon
never again will you search the night by the light of the moon
cant you see my feet are all too weaken
yet nowhere did i find a place to soothe your ache
oh i am who you said i am i knew that
i cant hide me from your eyes it reflected my scars
bleeding me dry it showed me mirages with tears
there i was and yet i am the same
my now and then
my everything?
i'll steal my rest
i'm gone too far and can break no more
so fingers trembling hush it'll end soon
never again will you wait in the dark for the light of the moon
