To The Dean Poem by Varghese Kuncheria

To The Dean

Rating: 5.0

You can't contain me in
A cubicle you put me in
A citizen from high above
Has a right place on earth

Did I not behave upright?
Though at times not so right
Yet never crossed the limit
But did I get things right?

What counts high on earth
I count them low as chaff
Hey, I count them like hay
I fathom the Great mind

Let wisdom prevail over
The petty worldly standards
Which many hold high up
Above all moral values!
