You hauled yourselves to the tabernacle of life
With your hearts you constructed the place of hope
Overhauling the human spirit
You refined the art of humanity
Painting the fears, sorrows and triumphs with one brush
You renovated the art of existence with your poems
You brought life to the hopeless
And a smile to the bereaved
You are a rare breed of Souls
Tempering with the fabric of existence
You created an oasis for hope, faith and Love
Shaping lives with your beautiful words
You carved a valley
Out of the solid rock of life
You crafted a beautiful nest
Where hope is nourished
Faith is concentrated
And Love is revealed
To the poets
I salute you
May your words
Be the wisdom
That gives us courage
To embrace our humanity
