To The Trinity Of Night Poem by Peter Russell

To The Trinity Of Night

Naiad of the weeping spring
Maid beside the ghostly well
Nymph beneath the blossoming tree
Child of Heaven Queen of Hell

Goddess of the knot and lash
Mother of the moon and night
Destiny of the rope and snare
Web of Time and loop of Spite

Master of the spells that bind
Lunar and aquatic King
Nexus of the Ancient Law
Cord and chain and crook and ring

Maiden of the iron flowers
Dreadful crone with your bright horns
Night and ocean, wind and net -
Let me be till morn returns
