Today's World... Poem by Daniel Martins

Today's World...

My heart's a flame
And it'll never turn into ash
I've got nothing to be ashame
I'm true and I've got my cash

I've got my pride
But even so, I think I need a life guide
I'm tired of being alone
But I'll have to live with this- after all it's my fault for being what I've become.

I've heard a lot of critics
Some are true, some are just mimics
Since some are just too ignorant
They copy others 'cus they don't know what they want.

This is on what our world ended
Where a lot try to get killed
Where the rich own the poors
Just from looking at this, it leaves deep wounds.
