Together apart

i cant be with you,
together tonight
i cant be with you,
saying your make it right

i cant be with you,
breaking my heart into
i cant be with you,
with your 'i love you's

when you held me near
and surrounded my all,
breaking your promises
from many hidden calls

hellos, goodbyes
against my trust,
your silence talks
without my lust..

i cant be with you,
together tonight..
i cant be with you,
saying your make it right..

i cant be with you,
breaking my heart into..
i cant be with you,
with your 'i love you's

hands raised high
smiles aside
hearing of deceit
among your lies

you had my all
when you broke my heart..
your world, my love,
devided, we part..

i cant be with you,
together tonight..
i cant be with you,
saying your make it right

i cant be with you,
breaking my heart into
i cant be with you,
with your 'i love you's

i cant be with you
with you
'i cant'

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;

Ere the evening lamps are lighted,
