Upon a cross ruthlessly nailed
With truth before my eyes
I was with You my God impaled
And so with You I’ll rise
For me You suffered so much pain
Bearing as none before
That I believing born again
May enter Heaven’s door
The gift of faith was given me
With hope to call my own
That I may live accordingly
Without a heart of stone
I heard Your call Your quiet voice
Your empathy was true
Through so much love I made my choice
Eternity with You
You are the one who set me free
The one who freely died
In who’s image created me
That cannot be denied
How can I like a fool suppose
Selfish through life to run
Then dare, in shame my eyes to close
Thinking Your will was done
For everything Yours is mine Lord
Your love and tender care
How could I think I can afford
The devil’s bed to share
No, no my God sin’s lust has gone
I cannot live a lie
Through faith in Christ Your Lamb & Son
I’m living not to die
