Tomorrow Poem by reina Lorenzo

Tomorrow

I can’t take this anymore
How you hold my life so tight
You never listen to me, like you don’t need it
I hate the way you hold my world
But I’m still waitin’ for change.

I listen when you speak (while I’m speechless)
I smile
And I’m sorry if you hurt me
Cuz I didn’t follow
(but how ‘bout me?)

too much,
I tried to understand
But I need more time
To marinate myself from hoping
For tomorrow.
