I find myself smelling your shirts
And when it comes to my thoughts in the morning
You’re first
And you left your sweater here
But you’re no where near
You’re driving home
And I’m at my worst
And these are how my days unweave
With those deep blues believing in me

Baby lay down slow
I’ll make some breakfast
Sing along if you want
I’m sure you already know
I’m still thinking of you
And this is your song
So sing along princess, sing along

So breath in, breath out
Let your lungs rise and fall
The storm throws battles
It throws war
But know one thing my princess
My heart is right here
And I’m not afraid

And let your palms feel my warmth
My pulse, your pulse, our pulse
Take comfort
And know one thing darling
I promise you
