Tomorrow May Not Come. Poem by Tori Fleck Fournelle

Tomorrow May Not Come.

Rating: 5.0

Broken and torn,
Burned up deep inside
My life is a dream,
That's shattered tonight.
Tonight I'm alone,
Tomorrow may not come.
I'm blowing away with the wind
I'm crying so hard
I don't feel the pain,
You feel tonight.
You used to hold me so tight,
Just like a crying baby.
I wanted you to stay,
Right next to me,
But, I found you now,
Waiting for me to come
My life so torn
Heal it with your power
And then I'll feel
you love real near
Running into your arms
Is better than just sitting here!
I will wait for you my love.

you put your pain into words in a wonderful way. stay strong through it all. our existences may feel wasted but the truth is that what you go through as you grow up makes you who you are. and sometimes the worse our life is when we are young sometimes proves to make us much stronger and wiser when we are older. Read some of my poems. i started writing when i was about your age. i hated my life and myself and always wished i could be the invisible person, because then i could not be hurt. but i realize now that all of what i went through made me who i am today. and if i did not have those experiences i may not be who i am today. keep writing, let your pen bleed your pain out.
