Tomorrow To Remember Poem by Maureen Alikor

Tomorrow To Remember

See me with my smile
scavenging for gold
in a far away land
unsure of tomorrow
but hopeful it's better

though the sun fades
the moon appears
bearing on eagles wing
the love of yesterday
that today has grown cold

what do we see?
We see a tomorrow
filled with bliss
we foresee countless hopes
been aflamed with passion
the driving force of humanity

together we can win
and swim through uncharthed waters
bearing our love as our pledge
together we will soar
