Tomorrow, Today

Through Christ, tomorrow, can be today
A miracle of life
We need but turn His righteous way
And be His chosen wife

If pleasing God’s our living cause
When love we have inside
He’ll open wide eternal doors
To Jesus’ spotless bride

For those who’ll heed Salvation’s plan
Who’ll walk the extra mile
Cast down the wayward side of man
Through total self denial

Who’ll seek The One who’s always been
Who’ll ever Christ pursue
Place Him first, last and in-between
In everything they do

No wealth on earth could buy a jot
No eye can ever trace
That foolishness has quite forgot
And only God replace

Eternal life, eternal bliss
A crown of gold to wear
God’s Liquid Light His loving kiss
Beginning with a prayer

But who’d believe this wondrous thing?
If Christ was not before?
What cunning lie would Satan sing?
To close to man life’s door

But Through God’s Lamb, we’ve all today
Once self begins to bow
When on our knees we humbly pray
We’ll have tomorrow now!
