Too Good To Be True (C) 8-6-2010

Rating: 4.5

Wise men once told me,
Some things are too good to be true
And after years of denying it
Again I fell in the trap

Life isn’t a fantasy as I have been blinded to believe
Not everything ends in success
In sorrow and in unforgettable pain
I only wish I would’ve heeded there counsel

It’s been a while since I’ve experienced heartache
But the feeling is one I remember entirely
The cold shivers down my body,
The feeling of absolute defeat,

I never thought I’d feel this again,
I hoped that my time of pain had past
And though it hurts I welcome the hurt
For I have been again defeated by love at last
