Too Late To Cry
'Death' walks in
to end our lives at
unpredictable times.
The brain ceases
to function;
heartbeat stops
breathing stops...
no further discussion.
We arrive at the junction
which leads to a last
goodbye ~ too late to cry.
And the next step?
Heaven on high.
