I wish that for one moment
You would think of someone else
Besides yourself
I wish you would care for another girl
As much as you care for her.
I wish you would tell me
Exactle how you feel
I wish I could figure it out why
I cant stop thinking of you
And why my poems never lie.
I wish that for once
I could tell you how I feel inside
Instead of writing why
I am afraid to tell.
But most of all
I wish I could tell you
I love you and turn away.
