Too Many Scars Poem by Leonard Rebello

Too Many Scars

Rating: 5.0

I walk around with a wounded soul

I stare down reality from a tiny peephole

I walk blindly with my eyes wide open

And Bump into thousand lives all littered around barren

Come take me far far away from this madness

I wanna lose myself from this mundane wryness

Wanna swim with the stars

And shop in the vast universal bazaars

Shake me up wake me up from my cozy living slumber

Don’t even for a moment let me put down my anchor

I have stagnated, pushed boundaries in this life too far

With carefree impunity I seem to have relished too many a scars

The best medicine is to turn your judgment inward. People don't define who you are. You do. I like your poem.
