Top Deck Poem by Dean Meredith

Top Deck

And may I?
Partly entwine you
In my conservatory

I will not pin your wings
I promise
Just fly on down

To greet me
Let me serenade you
In your divine beauty

Fully recognizable
Hard to keep quiet
Amongst the staff

Were they listening again?
They like that
Plead insanity again

Beautiful witches
Raising us up & down
As are their wants

I tag along
For the experience
Heart in mouth

Lip in cheek
His/hers
Proudly shared
