Touch Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Touch

Intense
sensations
reap precious
sacrifices, transcending
everything, in a
universal sense
as the ever
compassionate
one returns…
feel this, and be
soothed, as each
transcends self
surrendering life
to this greater soul
to this catalyst of peace
who now turns, this forgetting
world inside out; gutting all present
comforts of modernity; causing each to
run madly away, from blinding doubts, and
allow grace and friendship to once again touch
