Tragic Autumn Poem by dripping heart

Tragic Autumn

Rating: 5.0

I sit staring out the window.
I watch trees shed life as
the fall air fills the lungs
of the lost and the hopeless.
I've finally found my savior.

Why must you come and go?
I'd give up everything just to
keep your scent with me forever.

With every breath of you I regain hope.
If only I could put into words how
much you truly mean to me....

While most praise the start of summer
I stand still wishing It would fade into the night.
I pray each morning for your arrival and
lay awake at night waiting for your return.
You are my tragic autumn.
