Train Poem by Eman Awad

Train

What if we met once on a train,
and our fingers didn't even touch.
What are our chances to meet again,
knowing that i'll miss you so much.
For you are the only face,
that will never be erased from my mind.
I shall return to this place,
i shall never let those moments behind.
And life is a train,
but i'm unaware of where i'll leave.
Will you remain,
and share my stops of joy and greave.
But what if you were meant to,
get off before the end of my time?
How am i supposed to go on without you,
how am i to forget what we shared of time?
And here i am with my tears,
at the train's window waving you goodbye .
So short is the trip of life with fears,
that i will stand at this window,
waving who i love goodbye,
with rivers of tears i'll cry...
