Train Hopping Poem by Andy Barrette

Train Hopping



I just can't catch a moving train
to get me anywhere,
as though they've made it hard to do
unless you pay a fare.
My attempts turn out as failures
more often than not.
It seems that every train I jump
is coming to a stop.
