Traitor Within Poem by Michael, Miracle Philadelphia Okorie

Traitor Within

</>You try to turn the World around me,
Try to push it hard against me
All you do to quench me
You’ll never leave me bleeding

You adding to my tragedies,
Making life a living misery
I turn around you’re mocking me
Wishing I seized to exist

I know you hate to spell my name
I know you hate my gracious fame
I know you plan my sudden fade
Into a path to go astray

An enemy in a folk’s guise
I’ve heard your each and every lie
All you do my person Criticized
What is it, you gained in time?

Cast curses for all I care
Now You’re out shall not fear
Cos the Traitor I’ve know is hear
Now and there, and nearly and clear

Used to think he was somewhat far
Away from me where eyes can’t see
But now I’m shocked, with all you’ve been
A traitor Within, so close to me

What’s you price for all you’ve gained,
I’ve lost your trust for all it pains
To see my love and trust down drained
Now the trust is gone, you’re rained

Betray me never will you again
For I can’t be fooled the second at time
Loose your curses for now I’m blessed
Better than those times I failed

For though I failed, I still arise
Touch the skies, and mountains High.
I can’t be stopped, my flights are high
So Traitor my shames on you
Loved you with my soul as a friend
More than that meant more a brother
But now it’s clear you aint no lover
But worst than that a Traitor
