Trees Poem by Juergen Wagner

Trees

Rating: 5.0

So deeply rooted,
high unfolded
So straight grown,
although devoted

In every tree
there breathes life
Just go to him,
forget all strife

Be calm and open
for this being
Take your time
and sense and see him

The birch appears in easiness
The limetree gives you tenderness
The oak has individual might
The beech is fertile and upright

The willow gives you inspiration
The ashes spread orientaton
The maple is in harmony
The aspen whispers cheerfully

They are the lung of our earth
earn love, respekt, oh, they are worth!
I look and see and bow my thanks
And stand with them in secret ranks
