Triste Poem by Mary Angela Douglas

Triste

tears start at the edge of the picture
beyond the frame
and then they start again

where there are no witnesses
and everything is rainbow blurry
are you in a hurry you ask of

any passerby
and try to explain to yourself
in cryptic signs only God could understand

what is this land why isn't it mine
and will it always be defined or can you say
beyond the edge of the picture

in the Radiant weeping away.
