True Love Poem by Toshie Nohara

True Love

Rating: 3.0

To my homeland on a visit in June
My heart singing a nostalgic tune
Me, the eldest of the twelve in the family
Welcomed by the youngest so warmly
Twenty-three years different does not matter
Our hearts full of love for each other

Faithful and truthful
Pleasant and cheerful
A Pastor for twenty-five years
Serving God all these years
A real blessing to us all
We, your siblings admire all
you are doing
Mother, June Dorothy and I
Were the ones you baptised
You lovingly honored us for
God's glory
We are ever hopeful and happy
You taught us to love and praise God each day
And to thank and worship Him on Sundays
You paved the way for the younger generation
To believe and trust in God's creation
Your passionate love for God leads to
your great preaching
Your true love for us leads to
more learning about God's amazing grace and love
Because we are God's children

Dear brother, you are
patient
kind hearted
humble
devoted
You showed us how to love
You are so precious
And we LOVE you forever.
