True To Life Poem by Cee Bea

True To Life

a heart filled once again
true in ambiguous fashion
it carried hope well worn

the tears that welled
within the corners of my eyes
for no reason
returned,
sprung from within and without
a gentle kiss

In mercenary tones
borne
of a brutal existence

The truth seemed to settle in
like a old friend long awaited

we shared a drink of yesterday
and for the first time
in a very long time

the colors returned
bold, refined
and true to life

Beautiful, I really like the thought processing in it.
