When explanations are hard to produce
Lie after lie comes shining through
Truth gets locked away
For reasons only known to yourself

Truth may hurt
but the lie hurts more
one lie to cover another
what was the first lie
can you remember?

So much hurt and
too many lies
whats the truth
will I ever know
can I ever separate the two?
