Truth be told

I was conceived on lies
I grew up and I lied
If I want to get out of a situation
I would lie
I lied at school
I lied to my parents
I lied to my friend
I lied to my pastor
I lied tom y partner
I lied to the president
I lied to every body
Even to God
The creator
The holy one
Lies are what
I eat
And do
My mouth is rotten with lies
I no longer want to lie
It is hard speaking the truth
John 3 v 32
“Know the truth and the truth will set you free”
I’m leaving the life of lies behind
I no longer wants to lie
I’m born of the truth
I shall eat the truth
I shall write truth
Work for the truth
Free myself with the truth
Tell people the truth
I’m cutting the “maybe”
From my mouth
My NO! Will be a No!
My Yes will be A Yes!
Truth all the way

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
