Try It Again Poem by Joe Rivas

Try It Again

Rating: 5.0

Landslide buries
The weight is overwhelming
Breath comes short
I set up my walls
You dismantled them
And you got inside
Carved me hollow
With precession
Empty shell
I try to move on
Darkness is blinding
Light is cold
Up is flat, hard
Down is open, spacious
No sense of reality
All is lost
