Its not just a case of wasting time
or getting it wrong as we go
It's about the way we tackle
each task
and the results that finally show

For no time is wasted
if we learn from mistakes
and do something positive
at last
For learning will always
help us to grow
and we have to let go of the past


So when we realise that we
missed out on a chance
to do something an easier way
The lesson we learned
from struggling on
gave us more strength
I would say


Sometimes that is the reason
we fail to see
something easy and right
For in going about it
the long way around
gave the dimension
with much greater site


We learned patience and maybe
other valuable sides
to something that we thought
quickly done
Could be the lesson was simply
to wait
and learn
and to have some more fun


Whatever the reason
why beat ourselves up?
We cannot change what has already been
and the final result
will be the one meant to be
and the perfect result for your dream
