Two Angels In A Teacup Poem by Rik Bertrand

Two Angels In A Teacup

I went to bed late one night
And I was early to rise,
I found two angels in my teacup
Oh, what a surprise.

Two small little angels
Happy as could be,
They were playing in my teacup
A site for all to see.

They were just little babies
But they were wise for their days.
They looked happy as could be
And experienced in their ways.

They looked up and they saw me
And they smiled and waved,
Then they disappeared quietly
There were more lives to be paved.

Their site was a sign,
That I should believe,
That God is still with us,
And we should not be deceived.
