Two Blessings Poem by Michael J ORourke2

Two Blessings

You left me Lord two blessings
- a nuptial gift of Love
The birds would sing in human terms
Had they the knowledge of

You left me caverns of pain
-an onerous mystery
That one seeks Love at every turn
And grieves at Life's embroidery.
