Two Copies Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Two Copies

Two copies

He,
-the Russian Immigrant,
-the Jewish and poet
-with his book a virgin

He,
-who to me was
-'And he…'

Is now me
-me, myself
-in mirror

Feel being copy of
-origin in machine

Looked him up
-his name is
-he is not
-except in
-article,
-Italy's
-too condense
-very short

But to me
-he remains
-forever
-respected
-well-observed
-and cherished…
